We kicked off the year by exhibiting at the HAI Heli-Expo in sunny Anaheim, CA in February. This show never disappoints and proved to be an invaluable platform for reconnecting with customers and friends, while forging new alliances that have us excited for the opportunities ahead in 2024.
Our Q2 schedule will find us walking the show room floor at Space Symposium and AAAA (Quad A) while exhibiting at XPonential AUVSI in April, and SOFWEEK, Space Tech Expo in May. We take a break in June and then attend the AUSA Warfighter Summit and CBRN Defense in July.
If you are attending any of these shows, we invite you to connect with us. Whether it's to schedule a meeting or simply to stop by and say hi, we'd love to catch up with you.
For any inquiries or to arrange a meeting, please don't hesitate to reach out to Blake Andreasen, National Sales Manager at blake@impactelectronics.com. We look forward to meeting you.

As part of our newsletter, we would like to introduce you to our team and share a little bit our our Impact culture, our values, and how we occasionally have some fun at work.
On Monday, April 8th, amidst our usual busy day, the Cranston crew paused to observe the eclipse, and they were rewarded with a 91.7% coverage. It was a cool sight to see everyone gathering outside, taking a break from work to watch the natural phenomenon. Harrison Matthew managed to snap a picture of the eclipse, which immortalized the moment. It was a small but memorable moment that brought awe in the middle of the workday.
On a berry-fun day in March, we celebrated Pi Day at our Vancouver location with a plethora of pies shared by an impressive group of team members. We tried homemade and bakery pies, and the Oreo and Cream and Marionberry pies were fan favorites.
Pi Day has an interesting history. It goes back to physicist Larry Shaw, who hosted the San Francisco Exploratorium staff retreat in 1988 to mark three years since the death of Dr. Robert Oppenheimer, the founder of the Exploratorium. It was on this retreat that Shaw noticed the connection between Pi (3.14) and March 14—and the first informal Pi Day celebration was born. Now, we celebrate Pi Day every year by eating pies and holding pie-related contests on 3/14. Unfortunately, this year we did not have a pie contest but we certainly enjoyed eating plenty of pie at the office.
Looking back at February, we had a memorable Team Member Sports Day in Grants Pass. On February 9th, all departments came together to showcase their sportswear and memorabilia. We witnessed some great jerseys and gear all around! However, the one who won the prize and bragging rights was William Waterman from our Housing Department. William stood out with his vintage San Francisco 49ers jacket and hat, bringing home the prize and spreading the fun energy. Thank you to everyone who participated.
The Clearwater team is looking sharp in their new Impact gear. In the words of Deion Sanders, “If you look good, you feel good, and if you feel good, you play good.” I would say Clearwater and all of the Impact teams are off to a great start this year.
We hope you found this newsletter helpful. Please share it with others and make sure to follow us on LinkedIn for more updates, case studies, and news.
