Exciting news – Impact Electronics Solutions (IES) is thrilled to welcome Beto Dantas as our new President and CEO. Beto joins us from ConMet, a subsidiary of Amsted Industries, where he served as the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer. At ConMet, Beto led the creation and development of several cutting-edge products and new business units, as well as aided in the company’s growth through the utilization of unique partnerships. Prior to that, Beto gained extensive experience in the high tech industry, including through a variety of account, sales, operations, and innovation leadership roles at Flextronics International, a global electronics manufacturing company.
Beto replaces long-time IES President and CEO Dave Matheny, who is retiring from day-to-day activities, but remains on the Board of Directors and will be available for strategic initiatives and projects.
“We are excited to have Beto on board,” said Dave Matheny. “Beto brings years of experience in the industry, and more importantly his passion to help lead IES into the future!”
“I am thrilled to join the Impact Electronic Solutions team,” said Beto Dantas. “I believe IES is in a strong position to expand our current offerings and solutions, with both existing and new customers. IES’ combined capabilities, from design to final assembly, combined with our world-class quality and manufacturing, will provide the level of scale, breadth, and increased capabilities to compete in the broader marketplace and beyond.”
